Monthly Christian Value-Forgiveness...the act of excusing a mistake or offense. The new year brings a chance to wipe the slate clean and begin again. Resolutions, promises and forgiveness are on the minds of most people these days. Letting go of the past and moving forward is a skill for preschoolers and adults alike. I for one will move past all the chocolate I consumed over the holidays and get my healthy diet back on track. Our children must learn how to let go of sadness and anger even over small things like fighting about a toy. We will also share with the children that God forgives your sins and loves you no matter what. This will serve them well in preparation for life’s pain and disappointment. As a kid at heart myself, I am eagerly awaiting that magic moment—-the snow day. I how Mother Nature gives us just one this year. Please be sure to familiarize yourselves with our winter closing routine. Thank you for all the wonderful Christmas gifts and well wishes. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. My family had a fantastic break and enjoyed every minute my husband was home visiting from Iraq. Please forgive me if it takes a day or two to get back into the swing of things! ~ Mrs. P

This school year is starting out with a new twist for me personally. My husband deployed to the Green Zone of Iraq in mid August for a twelve month stint as a consultant to the Iraqi military. We are all adjusting to our "new normal". I am particularly grateful for your kind words, prayers and patience with our family stress.
Thank you so much,

My door is always open if you'd like to stop by and talk.~ Mrs. P One hundred years from now It will not matter What kind of car I drove, What kind of house I lived in, How much I had in my bank, Nor what my clothes looked like. One hundred years from now It will not matter What kind of school I attended, What kind of computer I used, How large or small my church, But the world may be ... a little better because... I was important in the life of a child. ~~ Author Unknown ~~
