Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather or other emergencies, please listen for Chesterfield County Public Schools closing and late opening schedule - then refer to these guidelines…

• If  Chesterfield County Public Schools are closed for the day, then Chester Presbyterian Preschool is closed for the day.

• If CCPS are opening one hour late, then Chester Presbyterian Preschool will open one hour late.

• If CCPS are opening two hours late, then Chester Presbyterian Preschool will be closed for the day.

We have  children with peanut and tree nut allergies so severe that the mere smell of peanuts or tree nuts could result in a major medical emergency.  As well as some other students who may not ingest peanuts.   In general, CPP would like to avoid peanuts (inlcuding peanut butter) in all classroom to keep our children safe.
